I wrote a wonderful post a couple of days ago but Vox didn't upload it!! ç__________ç
Anyway, even if I'm late, Happy New Year!! I hope 2008 will bring you, and me XD, many good things, especially in the name and skinny-but-handsome form of Arashi! ^^ And I won't object to some TOKIO goodies too... XDD
I have nothing in particular to say, just that I made a few "good intentions" for 2008 and I've already broken 'em.. kind of a record, isn't it?? XDD Main focus of this year should be studying and get very good grades... pity the first 2 exams are the most boring subjects I had to take... -________- Ganbare Giulia!!
Family's good, Aniki just started today his new job and he seems quite enthusiastic about it.. happy for him!!
My friends are the greatest in the world, and I can't wait to see them again on regular basis... I love holidays cause I don't have to get up early, but I miss meeting them!! Some of them have their hands full with their own thesis (ganbatte girls!! I now you can do it!! If I managed, you'll do a great job!!), others with work and love life, others with college and exams... I wish for them that everything'll go well!!
Now, on to the serious things... XDDD When my internet connection still worked quite well I managed to download a few doramas featuring TOKIO: YAOH and Psychometrer Eiji with Mabo, Juken no Kamisama with Gussan, and the SP dorama Hissatsu Shigotonin 2007 this too with Mabo, Higashiyama senpai and K8's Ohkura Tadayoshi... This one I think is really good: no way I could not like Mabo dressed up as a Japanese Jack Sparrow!!! XDDDD
(I wanted to put another picture, but Vox doesn't let me... DOH!! >___<) Demo, he's still kakkoii, deshou? ^^
This pic has become my new wall!! XDD
Anyway, this next season I think I won't be watching any doramas... it's really sad but there's nothing that strikes me as good... besides HachiKuro, but since I'm in love with the movie, I fear that the dorama won't live up to my expectations... (even if there are Touma and Nari-kun) Also this next season there's no Arashi nor Tokio dorama!! XDD
Sore ja, I think I'll try to study a bit now, even if I'm seriously worried about the latest announce Nino made at Baystorm: this new project, a thing that never happened before in JE, WHAT THE HELL IS GONNA BE????
Hayaku ie yo!! >___< I hate that evil little midget... XDD
Yesterday I finaly got to see it....
I'd like to comment it seriously, but I woke up at 6 today to watch the MotoGP ^^, and I've already commented yesterday on arashifordream.net/forum so I'll just say this: I think this could be Nino's best performance I've ever seen until now... he pulls off the character just perfectly, without being it too light or too much...
I loved the way he used his eyes and facial expression, it seemed like he was an autistic boy...
The other actors were good too, I just thought that the Mother was a bit "cold" toward her sons, but that's probably because my idea of "mum" is a bit different form the Japanese idea (I've never liked much mum's characters in Japanese doramas, they just don't talk much with their children, and they aren't as expansive as my idea of mum); but anyway the dorama was really good!!!
I didn't cry as I feared, but I was really touched.... especially by the "band aid" thing....
Yamada Tarou Monogatari finished last week, just like Jotei (which I have yet to watch XDD).... and now I just finished watching HanaKimi.....
Anyway, besides the final goodbyes (the Japanese must have a kind of fetish for tearful goodbyes....and tears in general, bleah!! ) I really liked how HanaKimi ended, and the whole series altogether.... so many good looking guys and funny moments!! XDDD
Kayashima-kuuuuuuuuuuuun!!! What am I gonna do w/o you reading auras???? XDDD
OMG that guy is just sooooooooo cute!!!! I want to see more of his doramas!!!!
Now the question is: what am I going to see this upcoming season??? ç________ç
Since I'll have many things to do until the end of the year, it'll be probably better if I don't watch any doramas, cause I'll end up wasting precious time, but.... I really like watching jdoramas, they're just funnier and more entertaining than American series or, God forbid, Italian ones...
It's just tht there aren't going to be doramas with Arashi... ç___ç XDDD
Well, I get a bit of comfort knowing that tomorrow I'll be watching Nino's SP "Marathon".... I fear it'll have to do until I find some interesting doramas though....
やった!!!yesterday I finally watched it!!! Nino!! *______________* Sho!!! *______________* OMG this dorama has become my new drug as soon as I watched it!!
It was a bit strange to see Sho and Nino acting together though, cause I keep seeing them as Sho and Kazunari, and not as Yamada and Mimura ^^, but I think they're doing a great job!! Especially Nino's acting, he's so good!!! I love the interaction with the other Yamada siblings... 超かわいい~~!!
I loved also the "mental trips" the girl did.... I mean, to see Nino and Sho, pardon, Yamada and Mimura dresses up as princes on horses she must have done some really heavy drugs... XDDD
A question for you My Dear Analyst ^^: I like to call myself "heartless"^^ because I never cried for a movie, but yesterday when I watched the scene with Itsuko giving the krokke to Tarou, I was so moved that I was nearly in tears... Is it normal?? ^^ And, Doctor, is it normal that I watched the first episode FIVE times in a row??
XDDDDDD ^__________^
Anyway, I can't wait for the second episode!!! NINO DRESSED UP IN A MAID COSTUME!! *___________* Of course, we've all seen the pictures, but seeing him for real... ^______^ This dorama is totally filled with Sho-Nino Rabu Rabu!!!
I loved also "HanaKimi": Shun is soooooooooooooooo かっこいい with black hair!! *____* And I think Horikita Maki can do a good job... Ikuta Touma is good too, but I really CAN'T think of him without seeing his HUGE nose... an eagle's beack is smaller!! o___O XDDD
The dorama is really good too, very nice and "sunny", perfect for summer!!
The ending theme too is really cute!!! Sometimes I find myself humming "Pe--ach!!" and clapping hands like in the credits... ^^"""""
Anyway these two doramas will me my lifesavers for this summer, let's hope they keep up being this good!!!
Bye bye to "Bambino!" because it finished last week (and I'm busy studying so I watched it only a few days ago)....
Last episode was so cute... the "final dinner" at Baccanale was so touching.... and Jun speaking Italian is so freaking cool!!!! He really practiced hard, because his pronunciation is nearly perfect!!! びっくりした!I mean, my Japanese professors at university talk exactly like him, and they've been living in Italy for 20 years!! (if not more!!) O_____O
本当に頑張ってたね、潤君。。。お疲れ!!
Bye bye also to "Propose Daisakusen"....
ALERT: SPOILER AHEAD!!
Ken's confession to Rei at the wedding was good, but I was hoping she would stay with Tada-san... I mean, Ken and Rei couldn't confess to each other in - what 6, 7 years? - and they get to finally "be together" just like that, after her wedding to another man??? No freaking way!!!!! >____<
END SPOILER
Of course the ending was the typical Japanese dorama-style ending: USELESS!! Now I just hope they WON'T do a sequel/special dorama to see Kenzo and Rei together cause to me it sounds stupid....
Bye bye to my cousin Veronica, cause this moring she took a flight to NY.. She's going to stay there for 2 weeks to study English.... at Princeton Campus!!!
うらやまし~~~~~~~~い!!!!!
I know it's just two weeks, with the vacation program for employee's children of the firm my Uncle works in, but I'm quite envious: my cousin already went twice in London and once in Greece with this study programs, and yet, whenever she has English homework to do I get a SMS "Giulia, can you help me??" むかつく!!And her homework's not a treatise on, dunno, nuclear weapons or world hunger!!! She's a freaking third-year at high school!!! The most difficult essay was "describe a monument of your hometown" !! >__<
I guess I'm just disappointed because, due to her father's job she gets all the occasions to learn something and visit wonderful places, while I always have to study hard, pinch every penny and ask my parents for help to have the same opportunies.... I mean, I was planning to go to America this year, but I had to say no to my other Uncle (who's going this August) because I've got no money and I have to write the graduation paper... And only if I get a part-time job I'll be able to go to Florida and NY next year, otherwise nothing...
Life's not fair... absolutely not....
ただいま!!I just got back from a long swim at the pool with my Dad!!! ^________________^
Yes, after a week of constant, nagging, begging and even a little threatening I went swimming with him!!!
Well, I can't help it if last week I had 3 books to summarize for the last exam!!! >________<
But today I was fairly free and I gladly went... Now my underarms hurt like hell, but I'm glad to know that even after 8 years of break from swimming (last time I went to the pool regularly was in 3rd year in junior high ^^"""""") I'm still good at it ^_________^
Just a bit out of shape, but when I finally got my rhythm back I was pretty fast XDD
Now I want to go back again regularly and attend the course (I can swim, but If I atten the course I won't have any excuses not to go XDD), cause I really need to get back into shape... only next week I've got the last exam (やった!) AND the pool will close down for the summer holidays -______________- Just my luck!!!
It'll just mean that, as soon as September arrives I'll be going! ^___^
On a completely unrelated note... yesterday I saw the last episode of Liar Game!!! *_______________* It took hours to dl 1.6 Gb but it was really worth it.... the first half of the episode was just a big summary of the series (with some added things of course!!^^) but the last part was absolutely WOW!!!!!
For the summer season I was planning to see only "Yamada Tarou Monogatari" and "HanaKimi", but since Matsuda Shota will be in another dorama I'll watch that one too!!! XDDD
And now back to study!! ^____^
.... Well, its Amabassador for the time being. ^^ (but we Italian fans are waiting to welcome you and the other 4 bakas XDD)
I watched the clip on Rin's Vox (thanks a lot!!!! ^^) that the Italian Ambassador in Tokyo went to visit the set of "Bambino" and talked to Jun... he told him that he resembles Marcello Mastroianni (a late Italian actor) <- which isn't actually true but... XDD; and invited Jun and the rest of the cast to come to Italy....
Not only this visit is surprising, but also the fact that an Italian newspaper "Il Sole 24 Ore" had an article about the dorama... We already had a small feature of "Bambino" in the Italian edition of "Vanity Fair" a month ago, but now the most prominent Italian economic&financial newspaper too... びっくりした!!
I think it's because the Embassy and the Institute for Foreign Trade helped the production to put up a believable background of Italian food, helping the production to get in touch with real Italian bars an restaurants in Japan...
Anyway, my friends and I found some other articles on various blogs, and even on the Daily Yomiuri Online:
"The exchange between the Italian Ambassador and Mastsumoto Jun"
"NTV's drama "Bambino" received (today) the visit of the Italian Ambassador. During the shooting in the Kawasaki's studios, Ambassador Bova said "this drama is a proof of the friendly relationship between Japan and Italy." The Ambassador has then invited Matsumoto and the cast "to come to Italy and learn more of the many beautiful things of our country."
Meanwhile, the set was bustling with people cooking for the shooting.
Matsumoto replied to the invitation saying that "I haven't yet cooked antyhing in real life, I learnt cooking pasta and tiramisù only for shooting while on set"."
(credits: ME^^ for translating from Japanese into Italian, and then from Italian into English XDD)
My Jap; Lo Spettacolo <- these two are in Italian, they basically say that in Japan a TV series about Italian cuisine is being aired, starring young "rock idol" XDD Matsumoto Jun.
(if anyone's interested in reading these articles wholly, let me know and I'll translate them!! ^^)
I was just a tad disappointed that the translator for the Ambassador wasn't the Cultural Expert -> who happens to be my former Japanese Culture Professor ^_____^ Zannen!! XDD
Well Jun, whenever you want to come to Italy you'll be more than welcome!!! we're waiting for you!!! ^___^
Just one word to describe it: wonderful!!! I'm sorry for Jun and Yamapi, but Liar Game totally and royally kicks their arses as this season's best dorama!
Not only for the plot, which is really good, if only a bit complicated for all the twists and turns of who allies with whom to deceive who... [anyway, thanks to the subbing group for the English subtitles.. I watched the 10th episode RAW, (cause I couldn't wait XDD) but I understood probably 1/10 of how they stole the money.... ç___ç] ; also for Matsuda Shota's and Toda Erika's performances: Matsuda is really cool (don't care what my friends say of him, I truly like him!!! ^___^), Nao sometimes I just want to kick her because she's so stupid.... >___<
AND the soundtrack is a BLAST !!!! I could go on for hours listening to "The Force of Gravity" because it's hypnotizing!!! *___*
This week is the las episode though... 3 hours!! O___O But I really can't wait to see it!!
I'm taking a well-deserved break from studying (the development of Lower East Side and Harlem in 1800-1900 NYC.... interesting really, but reading 400 pages of literature, theatre and social racism in 5 days can be quite tiring....) and I'm now dling Bambino 9 and various episodes of D no Arashi.... I seriously love Arashi for doing all these funny programs...
A couple of months ago I watched the "Matsupi- Terebi Shopping - part 2" with Nino and Jun... apart from rolling on floor in laughter with Nino appealing to the housewives "Okusan"... ^__^
..... I loved Jun acting as "poor housewife" who, wearing a PINK apron, has to peel daikon and edamame all day for his her husband XDD... really suited him XDDD
Anyway, now I'm trying to find the first episode of the "Terebi Shopping" but I don't know the air date... -___- I guess I'll just keep dling various episodes until I find it....
Thanks a lot to arashianfiles.orgfree.com because it's an endless source of Arashi videos.... 今まで本当にありがとうございます!これからも、よろしくお願いします!!
EDIT: I got it!! The first D no Arashi "Terebi Shopping" episode!!! And completely by chance!!!!
Questa si che si chiama botta di culo!!! ^_____________________^
It's wonderful coming back home tired from an exam to find out that Arashi's new album is already available for pre-order!!! ^________________^
I'm not going to talk about the title or the special features, because you already know all about them... I'm just going to say that OF COURSE I'll be buying it, OF COURSE the Limited Edition and most certainly together with my friends to save shipment expenses... XDDD
I also just finished watching the News Zero special footage of Sho in Australia... it was really good to know how serious droughts and climate change are, especially in other countries, since the Italian news only talk about national problems... -____- I was just a tad disappointed that they cut the part where Sho is in an elementary school... I wanted to see him with children again... :P
On another note, my exam this morning went reasonably well: I got 30 for the sight translation, 25 for the presentation about robots (damn professor and his mania for pronunciation!! >__<) and 30 for the theoretical part (which is a miracle 'cause I didn't know a single thing, and I thought I had said a load of bulls*** XD) ... pity the written exam and the part I sat in December had low marks (just 20 and 22 rispectively).... ç___ç
Anyway, the final result was 24, which is quite good since I studied really badly.... ^____^
Now only 1 exam left and my first 3 years of university are nearly over... firste graduation is waiting.... quite a scary thought, isn't it??? XD
Yatta, Proposal Daisakusen 8 has just finished dl... Yamacippi!! *___*
Ja ne!!!
